Our story

Trotzee started the way most good things do: on a walk. We are dog people first, and this shop exists because we kept running into small problems out on the trail that nobody had bothered to solve properly.

So we do the opposite of an endless catalogue. We look at each product one at a time, we use it with our own dogs, and it only goes on sale here if it holds up.

What we care about

Materials that last rather than materials that are cheap. Things that work in one motion, because nobody wants to assemble anything halfway up a hill. And a shop small enough that a real person reads what you write to us.

Where we are right now

Water on the trail, control on the lead, a clean way to deal with the mess, and a car you are not afraid to bring them into. A short list, chosen for what actually goes wrong on a walk. When something else earns its place, it will show up here, and not before.
